I Need A New Keyboard

Most of you know that I'm a smoker, right? I don't smoke all that heavily, but I definitely smoke whenever I'm working. If I have no cigarettes, I can barely write. It's sad but true.

Anyhoo, I've had the same keyboard for my computer(s) since 1998. I like it, I'm comfortable with it. I just didn't want to replace it. If I did, my words-per-minute may dip below the 16 that I've become so accustomed to.

Last night, as I was writing stuff for The Show, I realized that my space bar was sticking. If you do a lot of work on the computer, you KNOW how annoying that can be.

So, I pried it up to see if I could fix it. This is what greeted me. A warning...this image is NOT FOR THE SQUEAMISH!

Look, I'm not the tidiest guy in the world, but I tend to keep things SOMEWHAT clean. Seeing this literally almost made me sick to my stomach.

I swear, I will never make fun of people who clean their keyboards with that compressed gas stuff ever again.

So yeah, I need a new keyboard. NOW.
