Sorry It's Been A While Since I Rapped At Ya…

Nobody is more aware than me that I've been neglecting this site lately. Especially the journal. And for that, I apologize.

However, in my defense, absolutely JACK SHIT has happened to me lately.

See, Day Job has been a complete and utter behemoth lately. We sold the show to a major new market, which means that we have potentially millions of new viewers every day. Which further means that every single episode of the show - 6 days a week - is going through 10 times the scrutiny that it used to.

My life over the past month has been generally the same thing, over and over again. In fact, it can be summed up thusly:

10: Wake up early, but not early enough that I don't have to rush to get to work by 7-fucking-30
20: Scramble to get the scripts for the show together
30: Rewrite half of them at the last minute because they may or may not play in our new market
40: Get yelled at by on-air people because I'm late getting them their scripts
50: Cram what used to be 6 hours of work into 4 hours
60: Sneak out of the office before Bossman knows I'm gone
70: Rush home
80: Stare at computer, and shudder at the realization that if I did everything that I wanted to do on my site, that it would take another 4 to 6 hours
90: Give up, curl into fetal position in front of TV, weep myself to sleep
100: Goto 10
RUN

And that right there is a shout out to all my homies that remember entry-level programming in BASIC on the Apple II+. Be well, my fellow nerds.
